Alcudia de Crespins is a town located in the south of the province of Valencia, in the La Costera region. Thanks to its train station, it is very well connected to Valencia by train, with services every 30 minutes. Moreover, from the train station in Xàtiva, it is possible to access medium-distance trains with destinations to major cities across Spain.

Very close by are the A-7 motorway, which runs from the north of the country along the Mediterranean coast (Barcelona, Tarragona, Castellón, and Valencia) and reaches the south of the country (Alicante, Murcia, Almería, etc.), and the A-35 motorway, heading towards Alicante (via the interior), Albacete, and Madrid.

Its industrial estate, “El Canari,” covers approximately 224,000 m². It has direct access to the A-35 and is home to a large number and variety of businesses.

The climate: Although it has a Mediterranean climate, due to its distance from the coast and its location between valleys, summers are hotter and winters are colder than in coastal towns. In summer, it is quite common for Alcudia, Canals, and Xàtiva to record the highest temperatures in the region.

Regarding its places of interest, perhaps the most famous is the source of the Los Santos River, where you can sometimes see the water bubbling up from the ground. The river runs through its municipality, passing through the neighbouring town of Canals and emptying into the Cañoles River as it passes through that municipality. There is also a natural area along the river, a lovely spot to enjoy nature while walking around the surroundings. Along the riverbank, there is an area with benches and tables, as well as a space for cooking paellas or barbecues built with natural stone, and a play area for children.

Alcudia de Crespins has two major festivities: Sant Onofre and its local festivals. The festival in honour of Sant Onofre takes place on June 10th, celebrated with a large bonfire prepared in the days before.

The local festivals, in honour of the Holy Christ of Mount Calvary and the Divine Aurora, begin on the first Sunday of September and last for a week. During these days, various religious events take place, such as processions, along with the most popular events among the young: the paella night and the fancy-dress ball.

Regarding the history of Alcudia de Crespins, it is believed to have begun during the Islamic period with two farmsteads, “La Alcudiola” and “La Alquería dels Crespins.” These farmsteads were typically agricultural houses, common in the east and southeast of Spain, especially between the provinces of Granada and Valencia. In the Middle Ages, they referred to them as small rural communities.

The oldest buildings in Alcudia de Crespins are the church of Sant Onofre, built in the early 18th century, and the chapel of Cristo del Calvario, built in 1774.
